Previous Conceptual Bridge Design Options
CH2M HILL will work with Portland's Department of Transportation (PDOT) and the public to develop a bridge design that incorporates feedback on design concepts from previous bridge options, by Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Architects LLP, and that fits within the project budget .
Option A: Continuous Truss - Conceptual design option (PDF, 884KB)

Comment Card Responses to Previous Designs
Of the three designs previously considered, a slight preference for Option C - the Box Girder emerged from public comment received at the October 24, 2006 Public Open House.

Pedestrian Crossing Improvements
Included as part of the Gibbs Street Pedestrian Bridge project are pedestrian crossing improvements. These are proposed at Naito Parkway at Whitaker, SW Barbur Boulevard at Whitaker, SW Corbett at Whitaker or Gibbs, SW Gibbs at Kelly. The conceptual drafts of the pedestrian crossings are listed below.
